A simultaneous injection to three rings of KEKB HER, LER and PF-ring has been planned since 2006, and it was achieved in 2008. It consists of fabrication of pulsed devices and installation of fast controls. It is essentially a pulse-to-pulse beam modulation from a viewpoint of controls. Three beams with 3-times different energies and 100-times different charges are accelerated pulse by pulse separated only by 20 milliseconds. Resultant beam currents became constant within 0.05% and 0.01% at KEKB and PF rings, respectively, that provided the precice collision tuning for higher luminosity at KEKB and stable experimental conditions at PF. The event-based control mechanism is indispensable in future SuperKEKB project as well.
