High Season in Kyoto !

The month of May is the high top season for sight seeing in Kyoto. It is highly recommended to make an early reservation.

Announcement

We are sorry for the incorrect price indication in the block reservation. Former prices did not include a breakfast and a consumption tax. We have revised the price list, and the differences of the present and former prices are due to these charges. In the present list, the breakfast and the consumption tax are included in the prices (except for the plan without breakfast in Grand Prince Hotel). Several Hotels are newly added to the list.

We have reserved a block of rooms for IPAC'10 attendees from Saturday, May 22 to Sunday, May 30. Most of the hotels are in the city center. The Kyoto Subway "Karasuma" Line is the most convenient for access to Kyoto International Conference Center. The hotel are listed below:

Hotel list rates are per day per room in Japanese Yen (JPY), including breakfast(except the plan without breakfast in Grand Prince Hotel), service charge and consumption tax'''. Handling charge is not included.

Hotel reservations must be accompanied by payment of a deposit (10,000 Yen per room) and handling charge (500 Yen per room). The deposit will be applied to the room charge or the cancellation fee.

The rooms will be served on a first come-first served basis. Payment information will be sent by e-mail after the reservation is confirmed. We accept credit card payment only.

How to make a reservation

The reservation will be made by an on-line reservation system. Please access to

and fill out the reservation form. Payment (credit card) information is needed in the form. Confirmation will be e-mailed when the reservation and payment are completed.

Please notice that only the deposit (10,000 yen) and the handling charge (500 yen) will be charged to the credit card at the time of reservation. The balance will be paid directly to the hotel when you check in.

Earlier reservation is recommended because the rooms will be served on a first come-first served basis. The final deadline of the reservation is Wed. April 28, 2010.

Cancellation Policy

10 days or more before the date of arrival: No cancellation fee
9 to 2 days before the date of arrival: 20% of one night fee
1 day prior to the date of arrival: 80% of one night fee
On the date of arrival or no notice given: 100% of one night fee

Hotel handling charge will not be refunded when you cancel hotel reservations.

Failure to check in on the arrival date without prior notice may result in automatic cancellation of the entire reservation.
