The Conference Venue

The first International Particle Accelerator Conference will be organized from the 23rd to 28th, May, 2010 at Kyoto International Conference Center (ICC Kyoto) (http://www.icckyoto.or.jp/en/index.html) in the northern part of Kyoto city. ICC Kyoto locating in a calm area at the root of Mt. Hiei is the first international conference center in Japan and is famous as the place where “Kyoto Protocol” to control Global Warming was agreed.

The Kyoto city, "Japan's heartland", offers many historical scenic and traditional attractions for the conference delegates and companions. The conference center is within 20 minutes by subway distance of the city center. Along the subway, there are many hosting bars, cafés, restaurants, a multi-screen cinema and shopping centers. Bus is the most convenient way to move around this historical city, such as the Golden Pavilion, the Silver Pavilion and so much, even for foreigners.
